An exclusive location where ancient and modern, history and technology, tradition and innovation coexist in a perfect union.
Villa Balbiano is a modern and exclusive location located in the heart of Andezeno, a small town not far from the center of Turin. The location is part of the Balbiano wineries, where the typical wines that give value and prominence to the Turin hills are produced: Barbera, Bonarda, Malvasia, Cari but above all Freisa.
When Giuseppina Villa and Melchiorre Balbiano met at the top of the tree-lined avenue of their house, exchanging the first of the infinite words that they would say to each other in their life together, who knows if they would have ever imagined how much that country farmhouse would transform in the years to come.
In fact, the transformation was truly radical: first the barn and the stable became the production cellar and the wine shop respectively, then the old carriage shelter became the headquarters of the Balbiano Museum. The chicken coop transformed into a warehouse, the sharecroppers' house and the family's apartments revisited and transformed from top to bottom.
Not even a seer would have predicted such a radical revolution.
Only one thing has never changed: the spirit.
The desire to innovate, improve, grow one step at a time has never failed. Melchiorre, Francesco and now Luca have maintained and still maintain an unchanged entrepreneurial and life philosophy that tends to respect tradition while adapting it to changing times.
This spirit suggested us, once again, to get involved with one of the most ambitious projects of our existence.
The cellars and the museum became increasingly visited by customers, friends and enthusiasts but there was no place to host large groups.
A place where it was possible to organize an event with over 100 people. A corporate meeting, a convention, a team building or simply a private event, a ceremony, a dinner.
Once we had identified the space suitable for hosting such a structure, we tried, together with architects, engineers and professionals, to make it modern and efficient but at the same time warm and welcoming, futuristic but immersed in a late 18th century reality.
We feel that we have succeeded and we really hope that you will like this big step towards the future.
In honor of the two great families who lived for hundreds of years within these walls, making all this possible, we decided to dedicate the name of this structure to them: Villa Balbiano.
