From the Piedmontese dialect "grignòle", a term used to indicate the particularly numerous seeds of the vine, Grignolino represents one of the most typical Piedmontese grape varieties that embraces the territory between Asti and Casale Monferrato. An easy and ready-to-drink wine, with a delicate aroma, a dry and slightly tannic flavour.

Tasting Notes

Light ruby ​​red in colour, Grignolino has a floral and fruity bouquet in which notes of wild strawberry and raspberry are perceived, followed by rose and violet. On the palate it has good freshness and moderate tannins.

Excellent when paired with cold and hot appetizers, first and second courses of red or white meat, mushrooms, asparagus, cured meats and unmatured cheeses.
